SUNDAY SERVICES: What an epic month we've had! Two services now happen each Sunday at The Hub and we are still live each week online too. A huge shout out to the AWESOME team that has made all of that possible and all the extra work that has gone into it. It's been a huge blessing to be together worshipping, serving and connecting back at The Hub and online. We kicked off a new sermon series towards the end of the month 'Whatever Happened To?' as well as messages from Pastor Kate and David Shearman. We welcomed Holly Crisp, Lois Mugleston, Amanda and Jade Musgrove and Joe Napier into membership and had Phil lead us in communion from his home. We also heard an update on the "Grow" from Lynne Tan.
RPM: This month we prayed and worshipped together. There was a time of praying for people in the room and situations that are impacting our church family. It was a powerful evening breaking strongholds and being in the presence of God.
ROCK CHICKS: The ladies had an evening hearing wise words on forgiveness from Liz Clements and Lynne Tan. Both women shared personal stories that showed the impact unforgiveness can have on your life and the freedom that comes when we give situations to God.
ROCKER FELLAS: The guys met together on Zoom to have a catch up and to spend time praying for each other, the church and other situations that were placed on their hearts.
ROCK LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: Our first session for Leadership Academy took place teaching on 'Self leadership – we can’t even begin to lead others until we can lead ourselves'. We looked at Time Management (how we apportion our time), Mind Management (what we’re thinking on), Emotional Management (Self image/self respect and self esteem), Relational Management (mentoring and accountability) and Spiritual Management (good Godly habits). Followed by a great discussion on each point with lots of strong takeaways for everyone to start implementing into their lives! A great first session socially distanced in the lounge at the Hub. So much potential in the room!
FIC: The Freedom In Christ group has been meeting weekly on Zoom and have been hearing about 'Our Daily Choices', 'The Battle For our Minds', 'Handling Emotions Well', and 'Forgiving From The Heart'. There has been some great discussions in the FIC small groups with people having revelations about what they have heard.
